昨年、コロナ禍において「糸」という映画がロードショウーされました。
あまり話題にはなりませんが、私は単純に泣きました。
人には見えない糸で結ばれている、恋愛ではそれを赤い糸といいますが。
それを、仏教では「縁」「因縁」と云います。
私たちは縁という糸で結ばれています。しかし、その糸を気づかずに通り過ぎてしまい、掴めずにいたりします。
出会いはどこにでもあります。
その出会いを見逃さずにしっかり、捕まえる為、常にアンテナを張ってください。
その出会いが素晴らしいものになるよう、自分自身を磨いてください。
それを、仏教で「精進」といいます。
無駄な時間・日はありません。
今を大切にその糸を掴むまで、
